Module content | This module gives and overview of guidance and counselling within the school context with the principles of positive psychology as the underlying foundation. The module strives to equip the student teacher with knowledge and skills to screen, identify, assess and support learners with physical and physiological impairment and learners who display challenging behaviour in the classroom. The student teacher will be exposed to how contextual psychosocial care and support as well as career guidance can be implemented in schools.
